"Great software for what I need."

Pros
I find this photo software really easy to use. I needed a software that I could crop photos and get rid of red eye it does the job. I will eventually explore the other features but for me it is great.
Cons
Have not found any.

I find Photoshop a very complicated program with VERY LITTLE tutorial assistance available. GIMP is consistently compared with Photoshop, and rightfully so. It is also a very complicated program with VERY LITTLE tutorial assistance available.
Summary
If you are not a professional photographer and have the training and skill of a professional, you either do not need this program, or you better plan on a long and concentrated learning process. It ain't intuitive so you could just learn through practice.
