Version: GIMP 2.6.7
"Same Exact Experience: Crashes on Leopard 10.5.08"
Pros: I've used this program before on this same computer in the past, but deleted in by mistake. Its a good program when it works.
Cons: The toolbar appears on the screen fine, but the graphic manipulation screen opens up with some enormous default text that is so large you can't read what its saying. When you mouse over toolbar items, large windows open up resulting in crashing.
Summary: There's something wrong with this specific download. read more

"Won't open. Nearly crashes my whole Mac."
Pros: Can't get it to launch correctly, so... NONE
Cons: Won't load, nearly crashes my whole Mac.
Summary: This barely launches. When it does, the windows are huge (larger than my screen), and I can't even resize them to fit the screen. I'm running a 2.4 GHz Aluminum MacBook with Snow Leopard. I'm not sure if this is isolated to Snow Leopard since I just ... read more
