Version: GIMP 2.6.6
"Good software, no problems so far"
Pros: I like the fact that it's free and has a lot of features.
Cons: It's hard to learn how to use it at first; it could use a tutorial or something.

Version: GIMP 2.6.6
Pros: Professional, wide range of tools comparable to Photoshop, have been using it very successfully for three years now on a professional level - and it is absolutely free!
Cons: In the latest version a few things have been changed: the window for the Rotation tool, the full screen view with black background, and the appearance of the tool-bar box. What hasn't changed is that the rotation setting is a bit unreliable.

"There is something wrong with my download"
Pros: I heard very good things about GIMP
Cons: I cant yet say anything about your fine product until the bug mentioned below is sorted out.
Summary: Every time I download the program, I get a notice saying Gimp 2.6.6, but it is a tiny fraction of the program and is written in Hebrew. I am not interested in getting it in Hebrew and want the whole program in English. I have heard such good thing... read more

Pros: I love this product because it is free and easy to use. I only needed about 10 min. of messing around with it to get to know how to use it. I am so popular on funny.com just because of this! It is more high-tech than photo-shop to! my schoolUSES GIMP

"in the official sit the link is broken"
Pros: i was surprised when this program had icelandic texts!!!! what are all languages in this
Cons: hmmm really hard to control in the first time and how do you make the changes i have no idea using it for the first time really hard to figure out for the first
