"Much Better Than Many Reviewers Rate"
Pros: Easy to use, most basic tools work great and there are a wealth of tools that do not result in any Pop-up windows. It's the free version, and if you need pro tools, fer goodness sake buy the pro version.
Cons: One quibble only: the Save function wants to overwrite the original photo by default. One must be careful in the process of renaming the new edited photo, if you want to keep the original as reference.
Summary: Excellent photo tools, easy as squid paste to use, and offers a wealth of editing tools and fine resolution controls that most other free photo editors lack. If the nag screen pop-ups get to you, that is a sign that you are expecting a bit much from a free program and should pony up and give the programmer some shekels for the pro version. For goodness sakes, folks, we all need to earn a living and this gentleman has shared some great work and deserves to be paid for it. I appreciate his efforts and recommend that you try this program and if you really like it and think you might need the pro version, then definitely upgrade and pay the fee.
