"Has some neat tools, some not found in other free tools"
Pros: Simple layout is easy to work with. The free version has several useful editing tools.
Cons: The intrusive reminder to purchase a full version at both start up & exiting the program. The menu leads one to think that several features are included. That is until you open a tab and the desired feature it is not accessible on the free version
Summary: The free version of this product has many useful tools that enable easy photo editing. The ability to add text is useful, but limited to simple rectangular text boxes. The clone tool is very handy and complements the other five tools under the correction tab. The framing tool has a fair selection of options but offers limited customization. The ability to select from numerous edges and an ability to adjust the softness of the edge would be nice to have. The cropping tool is similar to that found on other free and lower priced applications. It would be nice have the ability to custom trace, cut and edge photos when desired. Overall, this is a very useful tool for a user with some experience correcting and editing photos, but will probably overwhelm a novice user.
