Version: Fugawi GPS Mapping Software 4.5
"Great potential, falls short of promise"
Pros: Many great features if you like "hands on" approach to plotting your course on land or sea. Ability to import wide range of map formats. Some good 3D graphics features using elevation data. There is a neat interface with GoogleEarth. Interfaces easily with my Pocket PC. This software is well suited to navigation geeks.
Cons: PC software is way too cumbersome and redundant, function was definately an afterthought to features. Included street maps are woefully outdated. For all the formats you can import you cannot import a PDF (all the USGS maps are offered free in PDF format). The Pocket PC software is a bit flakey with graphics that are substandard, only just barely usable for 'in car' navigation.
