Version: Front End Convert Drop 1.1.2
"Never finished converting..."
Pros: Uninstalll worked perfectly.
Cons: I tried to convert a mov to avi (Cinepak with default settings). The status bar filled up within 5 minutes, but it continued to work for the next 12 hours without finishing. The file was 4.5 GB before I finally cancelled the process.

Version: Front End Convert Drop 1.1.2
"It has limited features, but it does the basic job."
Pros: I think its main goal is to convert from avi to mov.
You have some control in the compresion, and you can add some filters, like tint, contrast, brightness, resample etc.
An uncompressed avi file of 250 mb, ends in a 1.6 mb quicktime movie, with good quality.
Its Free.
Cons: It only supports limited avi codecs.
It supports Intel YUV, Intel Indeo 4.5, and some dv codecs. But no Xvid or DivX. This produces the white movie.
It can convert some bitmap and audio files, but the interfase that is too simple for example, can only let you know the supported formats after trying to open a file.
The video filters seems to work only from avi to mov.

Version: Front End Convert Drop 1.1.2
"Good if you need to convert only a couple files."
Pros: 1.This software is simple and easy to work, just drag the original file, select the output format, change the output quality and just wait for the conversion.
2. You can choose between various formats.
3. Good quality results.
4. It's free
Cons: 1.Takes too much time to convert a single file.
2. You cannot select and convert multiple files, you must need to wait and drag only one file at the time.
3. Don't keep the last settings, Cinepak is the default settings, you need to set the output type and quality before every conversion.
4. Simple, not have too much settings to choose.
