Version: Frets on Fire 1.3.110
"Fun & Expandable - Good for players without Guitar Hero"
Pros: * Fast loading
* Extra user-made songs can be downloaded
* Mods can be downloaded
* Song builder included
* Keys can be re-mapped
* Playstation USB connected Guitar Hero guitars compatible
* Great fun to play with multiple players simultaneously!Cons: * Crashes/hangs on Windows XP
Summary: PROS:
* Long songs - long to load
* Songs are in OGG format
* Laptop keyboards prevent some 3-button combinations (but that is not a fault of the game)
* Online highscores didn't work for me =(
* Fast loading
* Extra user-made songs available for download from external sites (http://www.fretsonfire.net/forums/)
* Mods available for download which change the look of the game
* Song builder included
* Keys can be re-mapped
* Playstation USB connected Guitar Hero guitars compatible
* Great fun to play with multiple players simultaneously!
CONS:
* Regular occurance of crashing/hanging on Windows XP (haven't tried Vista)
* Long songs take long to load
* Songs are in OGG format, a converter is needed if the user wishes to make their own songs which could be in .mp3 for example
* Laptop keyboards prevent some 3-button combinations (but that is not a fault of the game)
* Online highscores didn't work for me =(
[had to put PROs and CONs here because the other sections only allow for 500 characters]
I really enjoyed playing FOF. When I finally found out that you could download more songs this made it a whole lot better. All the popular songs that you wanted are there! You could literally have all the GH playlists on FOF and for FREE!!
I would (and have to my friends) recommend this game to you. If you don't like it, that's okay, you haven't payed anything to use it, but I'm sure that no matter whether you have played GH before, you will enjoy it!! (oh and... don't worry if you are really bad to start off with, you get better :D)

how could you put OGG in the cons OGG is a great free media codec that is not restricted by patents http://www.playogg.org/
