    "Very Good"

by purrfect davy on January 27, 2008

Pros: Best Way to test your knowlege of the basic notes on the fret.

Easy to use and set up. It is a must have program to have in your tool kit for would be guitar players and pros alike. It improves your ability in sighting the notes quickly.

2 Tips (i) when learning try making up a story example; for the open strings. Every Adult dog Growls Bites Eats. EADGBE and so on down the fret

(ii) Learn the major cords first it will help as you progress.

Cons: It comes down to learning the fret before you use the program you must try to remember the keys first.

Too many folk buy guitars with a good intentions even learning from books but struggle because they never learn the Fret correctly. But give up as they make thing complicated.

"A must for every hopeful OR experienced player"

by MrGuitardeath on December 8, 2005

Pros: Teaching myself to play again the second time around, I've been stubborn about learning specific things again. Memorizing the fingerboard is number 1.

This is a great idea that can help train not only the memory but the ear.

Cons: None. It does exactly what it should.

    "This is beyond good!!!"

by litaichi on June 11, 2005

Pros: Ok, the bottom line is, you learn all the notes of the fretboard for absolutely no charge. Can you ask for more?

Cons: None, at least not yet. Look, you have nothing to lose except to use up a little hard drive space.

    "This is great!"

    on March 19, 2003

Summary: Not only does it help with the notes on the neck, it also assists with ear training. One recommendation - I think it would be better if the fretboard was vertical instead of horizontal, I feel it would be easier to follow the notes. Otherwise a fant... read more
