"Once the best freeware program around. Now,it's crap."
Pros
It's free, so all I spend is my time --and I still feel like I'm getting ripped off.
Cons
It's a bug-filled nightmare. It crashes regularly. Make a DVD and you can almost count on a patch of it coming out broken up and pixillated.
Summary
There are too many good programs out there for me to waste any more time on this garbage.
I also love the way, when it crashes, it asks you to send an error report and asks you to submit your e-mail if you want to hear back from their experts. Don't bother. You won't hear back and the bug will never get fixed. I cannot stress this strongly enough. Freemake absolutely sucks.

I feel for you. I don't even get a message asking to send an error report. Every time I try to convert from a video file to a DVD, the application just shuts down with no warning. The one time I was able to convert a video file to a DVD, I couldn't watch it because it the sound was garbled and the picture looked terrible. Audio files comes out okay, but that is it, so I guess I got the audio converter version of this freeware. All i can say is that at least it was free.
