"Can someone please identify the source of FreeGate?"

    June 22, 2012  |   By JasonSFO2

It works 10% of the time but glad to have it...

    Falun Gong = F.G.
    Free Gate = F.G.

Advertising for Shen Yun (musical theatre group whose proceeds support the Falun Gong) are very prominent in banners for FreeGate.

Look it's fine to support what ever group you want. But if you are going to make software that people will be accessing bank information, personal email, and more and running all data through your proxies... then at least be transparent enough to tell people who you are....

I would just like to see the group (Falun Gong) admit that they are behind FreeGate. Then people can make an educated choice around using the software and passing their private data through the Falun Gong's servers/proxies.

It is well documented that it was.

Why are you so upset? Are you...Chinese secret service? I assume you're in China and believe government propaganda. Why else hate quiet people who are highly moral all the time?

    As for the good. Yep.
