"Download file infected with Trojan Yabector.B virus"
Pros: None. I don't like viruses
Cons: I think CNET isn't doing a good job at protecting its users.

Pros: Free, fast, fairly easy to use
Cons: Like everything else out there, read the install screens before clicking so nothing you don't want will get installed.

"mp3 encoding function does not work."
Pros: none for me.
Cons: Maybe this software works as a CD ripper, I don't know, but it does not work as an mp3 encoder. Trying to convert wav to mp3 resulted in empty, silent files. not recommended.

Pros: Not seeing what the negatives are. I've used this little program for years and have not had any drawbacks to using it. Very easy to use. Easy access, self-explanatory.
Cons: Can't really find any.
