Version: FreeRAM XP Pro 1.5
"Installs easy and frees up memory"
Pros: Some of the other reviewers had trouble installing this product for some reason. It comes in a simple rar file and unzips in a second. Of course you need WinRAR installed on your pc, but I thought in this day and age everybody would have that by now, since half of all files are in the rar format to save space. Anyway, FreeRam XP Pro is free and frees up your ram and speeds up your pc. This is very helpful for pcs with only 256 MB or less. 5 Stars and Two Thumbs Up!

"Couldn't get past installation"
Cons: The installation was seemingly succesful but upon starting the program I get persistent error messages and I cannot get further than these. I tried to troubleshoot in every possible way but it's just not happening. Wandering if there are any known bugs in this version, and so on, cos it's a mystery to me...

"imposible to install and get running highly flawed"
Pros: old version worked pretty well though needed more info on ajusting the settings for freeing ram when theres high disk use
Cons: downloaded it extracted it went to run it and it detected i have previous version so said shall we remove old version ,i said yes then i got error message freerams been moved or if trying to reinstall please unistall first etc!! argghhhhh what a nightmare, first of all previous versions of freeram never show up in add/remove programs so its hard to find all the bits in my pc to remove,then thers no info on resolving this error..ill have to wait till they fix these errors so should you..dont waste 30 minutes like me trying to get this flawed release running.

Version: FreeRAM XP Pro 1.5
Pros: Easy to use. "Just set it and forget it" Only the system tray tells me the product is loaded and functioning. Truly a useful and helpful product.
Cons: Because of my success with v1.4 I looked forward to latest version. V1.5 doesn't seem to play well with v1.4. I improperly uninstall v1.4. V1.5 will not install until v1.4 is properly uninstalled. I tried to reload v1.4 and was stopped by v1.5. So now its a standoff. Can't use v1.5 and can't reload v1.4. And FAQ's were no help.
Developer needs to offer a reset utility to deal with the unsophisticated user such as me. I use the program constantly but have no way to use either v1.4 or v1.5

Cons: In practical, if you try to free memory on RAM, windows will write the neccessory files or cache on hard disk instead which will drop overall system performance
