"Has worked for years"

Pros
I use it to track free memory and occasionally to free some memory. It has worked for me for years. After using it, things that would not run or would run poorly will often run OK. And ... it's FREE.
Cons
Very minor: I believe it doesn't properly show you the status of installed RAM above 2GB.
Summary
I am a techie and generally VERY skeptical of these sorts of things, but this has made a measurable difference on innumerable occasions on my XP Pro system (running many, many apps at once). I have not tested all such RAM tools, and there may be others that are just as good, but this one has worked reliably for me for years and is free. Recommended.

This was a very helpful product and I used it for two weeks....
Cons
...Today it won't work and I get an error message saying that I have moved it out of the original directory.
It has never been moved. So I got rid of it and just now dl version 1.51 again.
Now I get the same message.

What a difference this program has made to my laptop's performance. Very easy to install-settings are a breeze to set. As soon as it was running, it instantly freed up 42% RAM. I highly recommend this product.

FreeRAM XP Pro 1.51 is just what you need if you have less than one GB of memory. I only have 512GB and I use It on all four of my OS. It frees your memory on startup and makes all your programs run faster and smoother. Before I had Free Ram XP Pro, I was lucky to run two programs at the same time. Now I can run my virus scan, defragmenter, LimeWire, listen to music, and surf the webb, all at the same time! I love this product and give it 5 stars and two thumbs up!

It cleans out your clipboard and cleans up after memory leaks for programs that aren't written to efficiently clean up after themselves. Really nice, especially if you have 512MB or less RAM.

This is a awesome program. My computer has 191MB of RAM but only had 34 free, and after I installed this I now have 109MB free. My load had also come down about 37%.
Hands dowm I recommened this to anyone.

FreeRam Xp does everything it claims without system or game slowdowns like most of the similar programs I've tried do.
Very easy to use and quite flexible in it's options.
Cons
Perfect for home users, but probably a tad limited for large workstation set ups.
