No distinguishing or special features, no different tjam several other programs perform the same tasks without updating your settings.Summary
The program works okay and does what it supposed to do however I gave it low rating because when I updated it the new version tried to hijack my home page and search settings without permission. At the bottom of the installation window there a very small box that's already been pre-selected - the small print beside it states that you agree to their their terms and to have your homepage changed to their website and their search engine to be your default. I un-checked the box and did not give my permission however the software attempted to do so anyway. I hate it when software developers use underhanded methods such as this, it's unethical and smacks of malware Uninstalled and downloaded an alternative that works just as well and doesn't try to install crap I didn't agree to install.

If you do not have anti virus on you computer avoid. I downloaded and my anti virus found malware. I was thinking it might be a glitch or spyware. Then it made windows media player stop working. I ran my anti virus to remove it problem solved.
Summary
If you want Windows Media Player not to work and Malware, and no ability to download from you tube this program is right for you if not look again.

Summary
Works really nice. No problems and no foreseeable issues other than when you close out the program, a pop-up window asking you to upgrade to a "pro" version for $19.95. Also, even though you can save the YouTube video in multiple file formats and qualities, it's limited to MPeG4, FLV, and 3GP. Not that these are bad file formats, but it's limited so if you don't have a device/application that can play back one of these file formats, you're out of luck. Other than than, not a bad little utility!
