    "Not bad, but textfree or heywire are better"

    Pros

    good functionality, but it would be better to just sms directly (no email).

    Cons

    Textfree and heywire allow direct international SMS messaging so they are better apps. A comparison of other free apps can be found here: http://thesetman.com/textapps/
