    "Free Sound Recorder - Great Program"

    Pros

    I installed this recorder quite easily and it now enables me to record sound captured by the netbook microphone - very useful when I want to tape conversations at the desk.

    Cons

    A lot of rubbish installs itself if you are not careful with the installation of this program.

    Summary

    YOU MUST DECLINE to install the Free Sound recorder toolbar, uncheck all the additional desktop tasks, and don't install any other offers, to make the program install. That is why other people have had all sorts of rubbish pop up within their browsers. If you want to change the input source then use SOUND within Control Panel - I use this program to tape my house telephone too.
