"Replaces default search engine"
Pros: Don't know if there are any because I didn't install the program after reading the terms of service agreement.
Cons: Installs Zwunzi search engine
Summary: If you download the file and read the terms of service agreement, you may decide not to install the program. Disappointed that CNET failed to identify this bit of information on the download page, but I guess that is what the review process is for. ... read more

Pros: I have absolutely nothing good to say about this product. Plenty of bad, but the Consonly allow 250 characters.
Cons: Unable to get a "clean" recording. I tried various settings, but there were always gaps in the recording at irregular intervals. Finally gave up.
"Zwunzi" virus is included as an option. BEWARE!Summary: This product is worthless to me. The way the install requests to install the "ZWUNZI" virus, is deceptive and very unprofessional. The product itself does not perform adequately for my requirements. read more

"Great piece of freeware - gets the job done!"
Pros: --wide variety of file formats supported.
--batch conversion possible.Cons: --not a great interface design.

Version: Free Sound Recorder 8.1.1
Pros: I find that Free Sound Recorder's user interface is the most intuitive and fastest to use of the major Sound Recorder. It has a good collection of effects and filters, as well as all the standard editing functions you'd ever want.
Cons: I wish it support more languages
