Version: Free Registry Cleaner 4.11
"Excellent Tool"
Pros: Very effective finding and fixing invalid links in the Registry. It's a great overall solution in one package, that's relatively safe to use.
Cons: It doesn't show the number of problems items decreasing as it's fixing or deleting. But that's more of a preference than a problem.
Summary: I'm quite impressed by this free registry and system clean up utility. It's very intuitive and ready to run "out of the box". As an IT technician I've used this program on several PCs which were running slow or hanging up. And after using it, cleaning up the Registry, deleting cookies and temp files and folders...It has a registry backup as well.
I use this with the Windows Disk Cleanup. I also do a System Restore just to be safe. The only thing is that you need to go to the Recycle Bin to delete the files found during the deleting process - kinda strange. But it might be an option I haven't checked out.
Either way this is an impressive utility.
