Product ranking:#42 in Diagnostic Software
It does work most of the time.
It uses memory and eats up user time.
Go ahead and get this if you have a WHOLE lot of memory to start out with and run a WHOLE lot of programs. I took it off my computer because it cause more problems then it was worth.
Small Footprint, simple without additional "silliness"
Appears to have a 2048MB (2GB) hardcoded RAM limit.
Memory Optimizers do exactly what they were meant to do, free up ram by forcing DLLs or other extensions out... though I would believe their implementation is rather flawed. Rather than directly modifying ram addresses, they appear to simply "grab" as much memory as possible thus forcing windows to "deal with the problem".
These tools are not to increase speed, but increase stability for programs with ever increasing memory footprints... offering more benefits to those who turn off the pagefile. But again, it's for people who TRULY FILL their memory up...
there's nothing to like in it! it didn't help at all!
it's useless, can't free ram, it's a useless piece of $(#p!
don't download! waste of time!
no pros with this
did not do anything
did not do anything
simple to use
have no problems with this product
it works on its own at startup or I can clean the ram myself if needs be.. easy to use and it works
easy to set up
freezes the computer while trying to free ram wich i found very anouying
found rampage a better memory optimizer
free product just can optimize ram
It just can optimzier ram but not all. I prefer the advanced optimzier. Just see here:
wastes HD space
probably frees up ram by paging infrequently used applications
When an application is paged, it is removed from the ram and placed in the pagefile. While this can free up ram, it also slows the applications that are paged because they need to be loaded into the memory again, and therefore not actually clearing ram. While this program might temporarily clear ram, the effect will be undone when you try to access a paged application. I am not saying that that is what this program does, I am saying that that is what most ram optimizers do, and I don't like to use them for that reason.

I agree with pappy54. To say that this program "probably" frees up RAM by paging applications, and basing a negative review on that assumption, is irresponsible at best. I haven't tried this program yet, but your review is meaningless whether the program is good or bad.

If you don't understand just how it works then how can you make such claims? I guess what you don't know won't hurt you, or your readers.
Easy to use, easy access. Optimizer settings are easy to adjust.
I did not see much increase in speed when using this software.
Keeps my old computer running smoothly. Would def. recommend this for comps. short in memory, saves the "blues", if you see what I mean.
Does exactly as it says on the tin, no cons.
