Pros

Free Opener has approximately 80 different types of files that it can open. That is awesome. The files that were sent to me from a co-worker were in a format I had never seen. From start to finish, it took only approximately 10 minutes to download and install this free program and to open and print the documents I neede. I really appreciate that software programs like this one are available for free. Especially during this state of economic crisis in our country.

Cons

I did not like the way the webpage is setup; leading one to believe that is was necessary to download and run a scan for errors on your computer prior to downloading Free Opener. The scan shows you how many errors, etc. are contained on your computer and then asks you if you want to fix these errors. Naturally one would say yes, because you think the program is free. The next page says the program fixed 10 errors and if you want to fix the rest of the errors you must register. There is a cost to register to obtain a license. This wasted my time. I have tried other programs similiar to this program and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Summary

Free Opener is great and it is free. I would recomment this to everyone. Just avoid taking the time to scan your computer and everything will go a lot faster. Good Luck. Bunny
