Version: Free Mp3 Wma Converter Ripper Cutter 1.6.1
"Worked quickly and flawlessly."
Pros: I used the program to convert about 250 files from MP3 to WAV. Within a minute of downloading the app, I told it which files to convert. Then, on my Athlon 2700+ it took two to six seconds for each file to convert. The file select button was a bit hard for me to find, but found it on second try. I think they should just have a button saying "select file(s) to convert".

Pros: Simple to use and it worked well. I did not install Pando during the install and the software still worked fine. This is not the case with some software I have downloaded.
Cons: There is a limitation on the number of songs that can be qued for conversion, 130 I think.

"It works and it's free - what more can you ask!"
Pros: Easy to install, very intuitive, fast, handles larger files too.
Cons: Be careful if you uncheck the box to install Pando (spyware). A confirmation question appears which you must read carefully instead of instinctively clicking "no".

Pros: This is one sweet little program. Everytime I download a "free" prog, I'm always waiting for the "only a partially working version" news AFTER you've installed the prog. This one works great, does exactly what it says it does, is easy to setup, and is easy to use, is a full working version and doesn't push you to purchase the additional features (which I'm sure are dynamite if they work as well as this prog). My hat's off to Koyote Soft. Nice Job!!
Cons: The Pando install may get past you if go barrelling thorugh the install without paying attention. I chose not to install it, went to the Pando website to get more info about the prog and the website installed it anyway. It's not spyware, adware, or malware, but they should at least warn you before they install it. Nonetheless, I guess the authoring company has to pay the bills somehow!! Still not enough of a downside for me not to recommend the Free MP3 Converter to friends.
