Easy user interface and does exactly what it was created for with no issues. If you get interested in the very distinctive option tabs, then they will direct you to the Maniac Tools website for the add-on. Each option has a price.
Cons
The information columns for each mp3 is way too small by default and I haven't found a way to set-and-forget-it yet.
Summary
Free M4a to MP3 is a great piece of software because it does what it advertises without confusing the user too much. My con is a very minor gripe but with free software I don't really mind. Download it.

. converted all of my m4a's to mp3 without any loss of quality or any voice-over watermarks. no hidden fees, you get what they advertise. no mal, spy or adware or viruses to worry about.

none that i could detect. no spyware, no malware, no adware or viruses. appears to work well with vista. very lite. careful not to install the ASK toolbar if you're not interested as it comes bundled.

performed as described. no hidden fees. no limitations. no voice-over watermarks. no mal, spy or adware. a lite tool. effective and efficient. i used no other function on the program, so i can not comment for anything else other than the fact that it did what i needed it to do, effectively and efficiently. i'd recommend to all.
