  "Really good program."

  Pros

  Really good program, once its working it is reliable, stable and copes very well with interruption, and resumes well. very important if you have a poor or slow connection.

  Cons

  Getting it to download the thing you want can be intuitive and almost automatic. Or it is sometimes elusive and darn near impossible to steer. Admittedly that may be because our school proxy server is too sensitive(??) but I end up frustrated with FDM which persists in downloading the web page and not the software on it that I am after.

  Summary

  I do recommend this, but it has some steps in it that are very like Torrent downloading, its tricky and arcane sometimes. I wish I knew why!!

  I really getting annoyed with it. Have done everything FDM help says to do with copying the URL, which isn't much, and can't get it download anything more than the page the download link is sitting on in CNET. Silly! Should be better than that. Used to do it. Come to think of it, it did this once before in 2006 and i got rid of it.
