Version: Free Download Manager 2.5 build 758
"Getting Better with each Build"
Pros: FDM is a very good download manager as well as a very good upload manager. Installation is very easy, and it is basically ready-to-run "out of the box". The preferences are quite easy to setup. And one of the improvement over the last build is the checkbox instructing FDM to "Generage a file name automatically" is no longer checked so that when you start a new download, you do not have to uncheck that option in order to name the file as you want it. Small feature, but it is one of the things I felt needed some improvement.

Actually, the first time I unchecked that option in version 2.1 it stayed unchecked for all subsequent downloads. So that's not really a "big deal" change from previous versions. I am anxious to try this version though, not having updated since version 2.1. Mainly because, oddly enough, every time I had the FDM program itself check for a new version, it aways said there wasn't a newer version. So apparently that feature doesn't work right in 2.1 anyway. So I didn't know it was updated until running into that info by accident online.
