Version: Free Download Manager 2.1
Pros: Excellent download manager. Really speeds up downloads and stabilises the download at an optimum rate. I use Firefox browser and the download installer is it's only hiccup. The options and settings are not difficult to use. Despite what some others have said this does not install any noticeable spyware - both Spyware doctor and Spysweeper failed to notice anything. Don't waste your money on other managers, just install this.
Cons: Settings take a little time to get used to - also integrates into Bitcomet and a few other p2p programmes but it's not difficult to configure.

Pros: I've tried most download managers on the market. Compared to GetRight, FlashGet and other commercial products this one is better (in my opinion) ... and it's free !
Maybe only IDM beat this product at speed but not on features.
Here there is a short list with what I like more about :
- Can preview unfinished movies and audio files !
- Clean and simple interface, light on resources.
- Well organized system tray menu for quick access.
- Allows easily adjusting traffic usage with just a click.
- Users can request the opinion of other community members on the file they are going to download right from the download window, and also leave their own opinion about the downloaded file.

Pros: OK, I have tried alot of different Download Managers (Including Internet Download Manager, Download Accelerator Plus Premium, FlashGet). And This one beats them all! FlashGet and DAP Kept going down to 300kb/sec then up to 500 again, then down and up down and up, Really annoying and interfering.
However, This one is alot faster at downloads, Staying at 732kb/sec! (With Firefox and IE I was downloading at 150-200kb/sec, Now 700kb+/sec is a HUGE improvement. It also has ALOT of very nice features and is VERY light. I can't reccomend this highly enough. DialUp Users- THIS IS DEFINITELY FOR YOU
