"Great Product - does a great job"

Installed quickly, after fiddling with parameters did an great job at converting mov ->wmv for YouTube, they look great. Will definitely consider upgrading. Worthy of the download for sure. Great output settings (highest, higher etc)
Cons
I had to update my video codecs upon installation so I was a bit miffed by all the options but it did get it installed.
Summary
Since everyone's system is different I see why it wouldn't work right on some but I like it. My daughter downloaded it as well with no issues.
Boy was I wrong, this is a lie, it is not free. It only converts part of you file. You have buy it to convert your entire file. Well for the money I want a great program, I got MyVideoConverter instead and that is an exceptional product. Don't get this, the website they sell it from is even shoddy.

Product did not work. Tried to convert .mov to wmv but every known good and new .mov file would always get the same response "Files (sp) read error"
It also dumped the XVID encoder thing thats used for watching videosSummary
The user interface JUST DOESNT MATTER!! it can be a command line program with ancient 1980s like text menu choices, as long as the program does what its supposed to, I dont care about the rest of it. This product wasted my time because it did not work, every .MOV file it tried to open said Files read error.
Using vista 64b OS with the mov files taken from a Panasonic camera. tried different choices to try to open the files, same thing.
DID NOT WORK, IT DIDNT SAY WHY -

there is generally no moral for this. I still had trouble with converting the files after i resolved my previous problem.

ugh..I tried downloading k-lite codec pack 4.0.0 (full) and it gave me severe rogue spyware.
and then once the installment was finished, i tried converting my files, it didn't even work so i went to the FAQ to see question 5 in the section Technical questions saying " Use the software to convert files, but it converts several seconds then output the empty folder, how to solve it?" but when i click it nothing happens. so i read the advice at the top of the section and it told me to download the thing that gave me spyware. -

Downloaded to convert HD video from Kodak's equivalent of a Flip video camera (which films in .mov ) to a .wmv so we could work on it in Window Movie Maker. Also used it to convert quicktime movie to a iphone format to upload onto phone to show.
Cons
A little cumbersome to figure out at first, but if you are fairly tech savvy, you'll figure out basic conversion in 5 minutes or less. Has lots and lots of different setting so you can change audio or video during conversion, but mostly over my head
Summary
Great free product for what it does. Very very versatile, in that it offers conversions to every format I have ever heard of at a reasonable speed. Around 1 minute to convert 25 seconds of .mov to .wmv format, but I am sure this would vary with your processor speed.

This may be a limited functionality download, but it will convert back and forth from MOV and WMV files, which is what I need in my work. So I am happy with it.
Cons
There is nothing that I dislike about this product.
Summary
Great value. And if I ever need functionality that is not in the free version, I am willing to pay for it, because I know this product works.
