The program seemed to convert my videos okay.

A search toolbar was installed on my browser when I downloaded the CUDA program. I uninstalled the search toolbar, but now when I click on links while browsing in Firefox, I get re-directed to sites like Quibids. So far I have tried Malwarebytes, Spybot, and other tools but have not been able to get rid of this problem. This has taken hours of time. I'm disappointed Cnet is hosting this software because I thought it was a trustworthy site to download software from. I won't make that mistake again.

MALWARE? Hijacks your browser and forces your computer to search using their search engine instead of Google... (maybe they 'hide' the hijacking with your so-called 'consent' somewhere deep in the user's agreement so they can say you 'agreed' to it). Yet I am the type who carefully tries to browse the user's agreement (within reason; not as slowly as a paid lawyer would but more than most would) but yet I didn't notice any consent to this. And yet it was installed onto my computer.

use this program somewhat infrequently; primarily to convert tutorial vid files from one format to another. When I do use it, however, it is simple and fast to use. At those times, it then becomes a must-have and it has never let me down.

It has converted everything I have thrown at it, even HD .avi files. Creates a beautiful picture from HD Xvid to mpeg2 and sound is always synced right on. and the speed is fast.
