"Fraise as a replacement for Textpad"

I am a recent convert to OS X and have searched long and hard for a replacement for Textpad. Fraise is it! Easy to create new commands and clips - highlighting for ASP among many other languages. Brilliant!!! Fraise combined with Yummy FTP I wonder how I ever managed in Windows, -

Small, free, easily customized interface. The author indicates a planned future redesign of the application, looking forward to it.
Cons
Helpfile refers to Smultron, at least it's good/helpful.
