Enhance the appearance of your menus for easier access to files and folders with this aesthetically pleasing application. Fractal:PC has an impressive and customizable interface with two options, the Desktop Map and the Start Menu Map. Quick access to folders, files, and programs from both maps are displayed and accessible with a quick double-click. This tool presents folder contents in a round, graphically pleasing sphere, minimizing the effort it takes to access applications and documents. Although Fractal:PC is easy to operate, it contains an online help file that is only accessible in the registered version. Anyone looking for a change from the run-of-the-mill menu presentations should give this desktop-enhancement tool a try.

Developer's Description

Fractal:PC is a complete file management application for individual or networked PC workstations which significantly outperforms its ubiquitous alternative--Microsoft Windows Explorer. Installed from a simple download, Fractal:PC automatically creates a Fractal Map of your Windows file structure, including all its directories, folders, and individual files, and allows you to manipulate them in the usual ways (create new, delete, rename, cut, paste, drag and drop, and so on).

Fractal:PC thus lets you perform all the normal browse and management functions of Windows Explorer, but dramatically reduces the number of actions needed to perform a given task. It removes the need for Windows' cumbersome tree structure and associated scrollbar, instead letting you see all the directories within 5 or 6 levels of your starting point in a single clear view and letting you open any one of them in a single click.
