"Foxy Tunes!!!"
Version: FoxyTunes for Firefox 4.2.3.1
Pros
I like how it shows the singer and song playing, nice features. I love how it can open up in a separate window info about the song and artist by clicking on the name of the song. It's like your own little jukebox on the toolbar.
Cons
It doesn't do anything that you can't do without it. I guess it's a waste of memory but I haven't noticed any performance decrease.
Summary
It's completely unnecessary but its so neat. It also puts the play, pause, next/ff reverse/rw, and sound buttons all out for you on the toolbar. It's got a few other weird buttons I don't use. Haven't played around with it much to try and customize it. It makes it more unecessary because I have all those buttons on my keyboard...so... but it's cool if just for the moving jukebox-like scrolling name/song on the toolbar. If using mediamonkey you need to move it from the lower right because it interferes with each new song pop-up that mediamonkey does.
....or to move it around just hold and drag the rightmost triangle anywhere

"Do not Use"
Version: FoxyTunes for Firefox 2.9.6
Pros
Good for accesing track info in one go
Cons
Full of SPYWARE. It slowed firefox down tremendously. I was left scratching my head re cause. Finally noticed lots of cookies being set and suddenly saw this program connecting to www.888.com. Removed it. Now no cookies. No problem.
Summary
As mentioned in negatives. I have written to Foxytunes asking why it is connecting to firefox etc and have recived no replies. If Firefox is running slow and sluggish , consider this program as the main culprit. I just could not understand how I was getting huge amounts of cookies being set. With it no longer on my system everything seems to be running at top speed
Re the "connecting to firefox bit " .. that was actually meant to read " connecitng to www.888.com " which is a gambling site , if I am not mistaken.

"Don't know how I used my computer without it."
Version: FoxyTunes for Firefox 3.0
Pros
Not long after I got Firefox 3, I got FoxyTunes. I've been using it ever since. I don't like sitting in silence too long, so I usually play music as I browse the internet. It's annoying having to open and close Media Monkey every time I start up Firefox. FoxyTunes made it a lot easier for me.
I also like the FoxyTunes Planet part where you can get info on the band you're listening to from YouTube, Wikipedia, and Last.FM (all of which I have bookmarked). The slim toolbar on the bottom is very unobtrusive as well.
