Version: Foxit Reader 2.3 Build 3309
"The product seems good, but free version is intrusive."
Pros: Free. Works well. Does everything I need it to do compared to Acrobat.
Cons: The free version is much more intrusive than necessary. The installation process by default included the installation of software that seems unrelated to Foxit's functionality, and unnecessary icons, toolbars and other items that are overkill.
Summary: Good program, but KEEP IT SIMPLE PLEASE! Given that this is billed as a lighter version of Acrobat, I would've expected and preferred much less overhead. At the very least there should be installation options to easily skip everything that isn't absolutely essential; but hey, I suppose I shouldn't complain about something free.
