Version: Foxit PDF Reader 1.3 build 0104
"The best PDF reader available (for Windows at least)"
Pros: Its free.
Its very small in size.
The download is small and the memory footprint is small.
Works with Internet Explorer the same way as Adobe does.
It will associate itself with PDF's after first run.
Its ULTRA fast.
It provides all the same features as Adobe's PDF reader while doing it in a similar interface.
Zooming and copying text works great.
Cons: It doesn't work with FireFox...I'm not a FireFox user so its not a problem for me, but there are a good number of FF users who will have a problem --- ditto for Opera.
It integrates itself with PDF files on first run. I personally don't mind this since I use this program as my main PDF reader, which is why I listed this as a PRO as well...but some people may not like this functionality.
The column with the page list isn't AS functional as Adobe PDF reader. Adobe does the page list column somewhat better.

I just found this today - You can get Firefox to launch PDFs in a Foxit window.
In Firefox select Tools -> Options -> Plugins -> disable viewing PDF files with plugin.
If Foxit is the default reader, it can just open the download
