Version: Fortune3 E-Commerce Shopping Cart Wizard 7
"Built for users of every skill level."
Pros: I'm really getting used to using all the features of this shopping cart system, and it is making my life much easier. The online store builder is set up for users of every skill level and my 12 year old son is thinking about starting a site. I think he could do very well with a few pointers using the wizard and the web store administration.

"New ecommerce shopping cart version 7.0"
Pros: I downloaded the new version 7.0 of the fortune3 web store builder and tried the new algorithm of this shopping cart software. I can now build fully customizable web pages for categories and products. Of course, you must have good skills in html coding before modifying or creating a custom template to be published on the online store. A one step checkout option has been added.
I've been using the fortune3 wizard for the last 3 years for professional web development. I like this ecommerce solution rather than the others because it is powerful enough and very easy to use as well. It accepts unlimited products and runs fast from my own pc. It also offers google checkout and paypal express checkout, so I don't have to pay extra for an online merchant account or gateway.
Cons: still waiting for the stad alone version

"This is a wonderful software"
Pros: Anything I'd say about this shopping cart would fall short because this wizard is the best software in the market. You can build any kind of online store, from simple to professional. There is no limit of what you can do with it.
Believe me! I already tried everything, there is nothing as good as fortune3 to build and manage a serious ecommerce solution.

"Free trial version confusing and frustrating."
Pros: I only tried the trial version and it seems to have all the facts and figures a busines would want and the two functions of this software promise to make wholesaling and retailing easier because of the accounting factor.
Cons: This software was hard to understand in it's trial version and if you can't visibly see what you are buying, then most will go elsewhere and look for something more accesible. Cookie Cutter style templates with no real imagination and nothing inspired me and jumped off the page saying "yes, this is what I want to create!" Directions in trial version are confusing and didn't always do what was wanted. Over-engineered and complicated but not in the areas of setting up a busines venture, mostly in designing a website. For the Techie geek who loves to play around and tinker, this might be cool. For the serious busines owner looking to get a website up and running at a reasonable cost, keep looking. Not very self explanatory or user friendly and really discouraging for beginners or those who want to get an online store going with a minimal amount of frustration. It just didn't inspire confidence and simplicity for $489.00 Standalone versions not requiring the company server that will let you create your on your own would require taking out a second mortgage!
