    "Flawed installer!"

    Pros

    None: It won't install. Gives you a file read error 3/4 thru and has to be aborted. Apparently, the issue is in the installer itself as the installer can't open the "ffdshow.ax" file for writing, whatever it is. This is true for CNET's DL and the Free Time DL from their home page. Stay with the FF 295 version for now, but if you do a DL from online, as opposed to a "new version" upgrade from within the application itself, be warned that the FFSETUP285 DL contains a homepage hijacker and that damn ASK toolbar (no Opt out). You'll have to uninstall the toolbar after the install. Advanced Uninstaller Pro is great for that!
