Version: FontHit Font Tools 0.2.5
Pros: great UI: clean & professional looking, support for open type fonts is a big advantage over other apps. character map is useful too.
Cons: non-latin characters don't seem to be appearing correctly, would be nice to filter fonts by type (eg. serif, sans-serif, monospace, etc). Also to allow creation of font groups.

Version: FontHit Font Tools 0.2.5
Pros: Easily view fonts BEFORE you install them. In its most basic mode, it displays a few upper case, lower case and punctuation characters to give you an idea of the font's completeness. If there are a few unusual characters that you need, you can activate the Character Map and it will show you the entire font.
Cons: Unless you tell it to, it doesn't display the filename. This is easy to do and the methd is obvious - but I would have preferred that the default action would have been to display it.
But here are the two biggest complaints I have with it:
1) When you run it for the first time, it will set itself up to automatically load at Startup. I use Winpatrol and was alerted to this fact, so I declined this option. I would hope that the available setting from the dropdown menu would also disable it if necessary.
2) This program will minimize to System Tray when you click on the Close button. In order to actually close it and remove it from memory you'll have to use CRTL-X to close it.
These annoyances aside, I will definitely continue using the program.

"Could not install, hence bad review."
Pros: Nothing, it didn't work.
Cons: I tried to install font tools but the install gave a message informing me that I needed the .net framework 1.1.4322. I have the .net framework 2.0 so this shouldn't be a problem.

Version: FontHit Font Tools 0.2.5
Pros: let me get rid of fonts I will never use and put on some really cool fonts found on other freeware sights, so my font file is not all cluttered up.
Cons: Took a bit to really understand how it works but now it works like a charm, maybe it was just me.

"Despite a few minor flaws, this program is generally excellent."
Pros: It shows me what my fonts look like. I can easily organize them in folders for back-up purposes. Though it may not show (in photoshop or ms paint) on which category I placed the fonts. At least it's easier for me to memorize the names.
over-all it does it's job of installing/uninstalling, organizing the fonts.
Cons: In my case, sometimes it crashes when I switch from one folder to another (folders where the fonts are located).
Also it seems to take a lot of RAM..sometimes more than my P2P client (which is expected to take more because of it's nature).
