"Impaired Demo Function"
Pros
This program appears to have features that may interest me, I can import images of characters I wish to use, and I can easily move the import around to get it where I want it to be.
Cons
It has no save or export feature so I couldn't review or test the font I was experimenting with. So I had no way to evaluate the end product. It could look like hell when exported, I have no way of knowing if it produces a professional product.
Summary
Waste of time. Had to give it a 1 star because I don't know if it works from this demo! no save or export feature. Couldn't tell what my final font would look like. I also don't personally care to deal with companies that are not upfront about their products. Chances are it is a trend that they will continue. Cripple ware features need to be declared in the product description. When they are not, it wastes bandwidth and peoples time, I equate that to spam. If you are interested in this product I would say buy it on faith and hope you aren't wasting $79.

FontCreator has a test font window so it is untrue to say that you cannot see how the font looks without registering the program. Text samples can be edited. You can also see how well kerning works by using the Preview Toolbar.
