"Pay to actually save and use anything you produce."
Version: FontCreator 7.5

"A High Voltage Update"
Version: FontCreator 7.5
A user-friendly interface for adding OpenType GSUB and GPOS features to a font, or for modifying existing features so users no longer need to struggle with the complexities of VOLT.
Group-based kerning is a massive leap forward in productivity. Define the groups once, then reuse them in any font by exporting and importing the script for kerning adjustment pairs. Autokern does most of the hard work - just check a few hundred pairs for glitches, before export a font with 20K kerning pairs.
Export as OpenType *.otf with Truetype or Postscript outlines, or export as a Web Font (*.woff).
Project files store font specific guidelines and export settings, while Export As.. offers a quick way to make minor changes to fonts without saving a project file.
The powerful new features also mean that some effort is needed to master them. It is a big step up from earlier versions.
Professional users will soon be up and running. New users and Home Edition users will find prompt help at the High-Logic forums to get them started. The FontCreator Manual is available online if you want to take a closer look at the feature set.
Those who don't want to register the program will not find much use for this Shareware program. The Trial version, which is the full Pro Edition, saves fonts, but only with a limited character set.
