"Love at first use!!! It's sooo very good!!!"

    February 28, 2012  |   By _CHS_

    Version: FolderMatch 3.6.7

    Pros

Does EXACTLY what it is supposed to do, WOW, how novel! It is extremely fast (Dell L702X, W7x64 Intel I5), very intuitive and downright FUN to use 'cause I've been putting off cleaning up all my stuff (2 int & 4 ext HDD's, thumb drives, etc) for way, way too long.

    To quote ATCbuff:
"Product is flawless. Works great on Win 7 64 ultimate. The best of the best though is their customer service! Quick and accurate responses everytime. These guys are one of the last..."

Here! Here! I could not agree more...

    Cons

Cons? Oh yes indeed... Why oh why don't all companies, software/hardware, computer/non-computer simply do the right thing, do what I expect - tell the truth about their product, deal with customers fairly, openly, honestly? (And yes, I'm very much aware that I'm expecting too much in this day and age. Been told many times that I over expect, not pragmatic, realistic, etc.)

    Summary

If you need to clean up multiple, random copies of "stuff" (tech term) look no further - this is nirvana! Even got it for $25 because I ordered during the first week of the trial period - cheap at many times the price.

and yes i'm very excited about something so simple and straight forward that makes my life sooo much easer... and no I am not affiliated with the company in any way, have no idea who/where they're located.

I had a couple of questions about updates, etc. and my email was answered fully, within hours and with humor! Imagine that!!! Thanks Salty Brine and Dee Sharpe. Ya'll got some great karma goin'...

    "Same as 3.4.8?"

    December 12, 2009  |   By moeg_99

    Version: FolderMatch 3.5.5

    Pros

I did not run 3.5.5, as it will not validate with my paid 3.4.8 purchase. 3.4.8 runs good enough to not pay again. TechTracker does NOT tell you if you have a free upgrade, only says free to try... even if you already paid for a previous version.

    Cons

I really like 3.4.8. Works great!

    Summary

    Never tried the new version.

"Excellent quality software, very fast, very easy to use"

    December 2, 2009  |   By Jules Brenner

    Version: FolderMatch 3.5.5

    Pros

    Extremely easy to use
    Very powerful and intuitive
    Great user experience
    Great value for money
    Very fast.
    Small footprint for installation

    Cons

Only one negative - I don't have the pleasure of using it enough.

    Summary

If you want to quickly and easily compare your folders and drives, and compare files, I can't imagine anyone developing a simpler, more effective solution than FolderMatch. It is totally worth every cent.

    April 16, 2009  |   By SheilaB8

    Version: FolderMatch 3.5.5

    Pros

I always start backing up tidily, but eventually end up with multiple copies scattered across computers and standalone hard drives. FolderMatch helps me get organised again!

    Cons

    Nothing I don't like

"It only seemed to want configure frontpage and not run!"

    January 28, 2009  |   By psmar1

    Version: FolderMatch 3.5.3

    Pros

    None......

    Cons

Unfortunately it tried to install Frontpage (for which I don't have the disk) and then wouldn't cancel. I had to kill the application. I tried again and the second time it ran and then tried to install Frontpage again as soon as I hit "compare"

"Assures backups are accurate. Also finds duplicates"

    January 4, 2009  |   By jtowle2001

    Version: FolderMatch 3.4.8

    Pros

Easy to compare two directories (inluding subdirectories). If there are differences, you can SYNC by copying in either direction, or two-way updating. Includes File comparisons, and Duplicate finder. I use it when doing backups and duplicating directdories for CD storage.

    Cons

If you change one file, or copy from one directory to another, the program requires a scan of ALL subdirectories, even those left alone during the modification. It slows down things, but they'll probably work on that for a future release. It doesn't affect the usefulness, just some time waiting for comparing directories that have already been compared.
