FolderGuard now skips over the hidden "Icon" files used by the system to store folder custom icons. As a result, the program should no longer make Icon files visible when unhiding folders.
Results of Mass Reveal are now reflected by the main window, so if a folder that was previously hidden is inside a folder that the user uses Mass Reveal on, the folder state is now correctly updated to Visible.
Synced the OS 9 version with the OS X version 2.5 codebase, fixing a number of bugs and adding new features to the OS 9 version, listed below:
Uses strong 448-bit Blowfish encryption
Folder list allows multiple selections
Displays number of items; number of invisible items; and number of selected items
Expanded folder info
No longer attempts to hide or unhide items on locked volumes, which would result in a hang
Folder list is now sortable by name or by visibility status
A folder can now be shown in the Finder through FolderGuard
Optionally write failed and/or successful logins and other special operations to log file
By default disallows volume hiding. This feature can be turned off.
Optionally auto-unhide folders when removing them from the list without displaying a warning
Missing folders are displayed with an error icon on launch, and the application no longer attempts to hide them.
