As I do not have expertise in computers, it was really tough for me to secure my important pieces of work. My friend advised me to use Folder Lock and he showed me how it works. Moreover, he also showed me how reliable it is. Definitely no one will spend 40 bucks on any software. But, once I saw FL functioning, I was happy to pay 40 bucks for it. Folder Lock really worth its price.

Summary
Being a freelance writer, I need my articles to be safe. The biggest threat to me was that somebody would steal my articles and gets it published on his name-- the idea used to really bother me. But when I started using Folder Lock, all my worries were gone. Now, I am sure that nobody can get my article published on their name.

I wanted software which was not free, yet provided me with dependable data encryption features. A buddy of mine told me about Folder Lock. To my amazement, FL was exactly up to my expectations, plus it has encrypted credit card feature, which is a totally genius idea. I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking for dependable, trustworthy data security.

In the past, one student had actually stolen someone's essay project for our biology class. To add insult to injury, the student who stole the project submitted it first, which resulted in the probation of the victim student. I don't want that happening, so I encrypted my project with Folder Lock; I don't mind paying $40.00 for it, considering the fact that if I don't, I could be the next victim.

Summary
I use Folder Lock to hide my tax returns, marriage certificates, birth certificates and other documents containing social security numbers, some documents I have encrypted for extra security, while others are locked and hidden. What I found that there are there is no other software similar to folder lock. The software is so dynamic and featured packed; it's sort of a revolutionary product. Plus, with tons of security features - it's worth every penny I paid for.

Worked well until I got affected by the fine print...

The fine print in the user agreement says it is a single computer license. I have 2 computers and downloaded the software to both. After 30 days, it requires you to input the serial and registration # in order to continue using the product. So I purchased it. But then on my 2nd computer, it wouldn't take. I contacted their customer service and was told it was only a single computer license.
Summary
Do not buy. It is only a single computer license. Cannot use the license for more than one computer. At $30 a pop, if you have multiple computers, it is a rip off.
First experience like this with a software purchase. Beware it is much more expensive product than advertised. Very poor business practice. Stay away. -

The customer service I got today from Michelle Rossevelt was super awesome. She was very helpful and she knows her job. She saved me a lot of stress that would have cost me a lot. The experience I had with folder lock customer support through Michelle was one in a million. For her sake, I will continue to use folder lock and also recommend this product to all my friends. "Saved my company from going out of business"

My company was built from the ground-up; I began working from home as a journeyman when I first started out, eventually my business grew to a point that I had to hire more machine workers and today I have 100 employees working for me. A while back, after a ruckus with my shop manager, things got heated, and I felt that he may attempt to steal my list of customers somehow. Then, my neighbor told me about Folder Lock, and how it can prevent people from stealing list of customers, not thinking twice I purchased this computer program. I took one day to learn how to operate it, but some of my employees help me encrypt the list of clients that I have built over the years. A week back, my shop was broken into, and not surprisingly enough the hard-drive on my computer was stolen. I was sure that my customers would be contacted, I waited a month, to my shock, none of my customers had been contacted, and all the credit goes to folder lock program.

My wife hates that I have pictures of my ex-girlfriends still lying around, afraid she might soon discover them and tear them up, I scanned them and locked them with folder lock. As anticipated, she did manage to get a hold of my private images and destroyed them. Little does she know that I have scanned them and locked them with folder lock? I am not alone on this one; anyone who has the same problem should download this software.

the minimum was to at least to let folder lock 6 work with windows 8 /

let you work with your old user name and password on the new windows 8 .
