I've tried other similar software on trial basis; however, they seem to have too many bugs. After downloading the folder lock trial version, I was surprised to see how fast the features worked, and surprisingly I didn't encounter any bugs. After my trial period expired, I decided to purchase it. Although the features can be confusing at first, I have been so far satisfied with my purchase of Folder Lock. I would recommend it!

Securing my files has always been a concern for me, I work in a university where I have to keep student records, examination papers and other sensitive information; I really need to keep all this stuff highly confidential and can't afford anything getting into wrong hands. I always wanted something that offers very high security but at the same time keeps the integrity of my data, not very difficult to use and doesn't take hours to apply security. I am really glad that I found folder lock, it works exactly the way I wanted. It offers unbreakable security, very user-friendly and protects the data without taking any time.

I have recently started using Folder lock on one of my friend's recommendation and I found it quite easy and simple. Its GUI is excellent and it helped me a lot to understand the use of this application. I am all in peace now, no more worries about securing my confidential data. With the help of online backup feature I can access my data from anywhere at any time.

- Easy to use and very fast when locking/unlocking folders
- Very secure military-standard encryption
- Great stealth options to hide all traces of Folder Lock on the computer (just make sure you remember your secret keyboard combination to open Folder Lock if you enable every stealth option)Cons
- User interface window can't be re-sized

I've been using Folder Lock for years and this latest version makes everything much simpler and easy to use. You could always create multiple securely encrypted lockers to store different types of files but it was annoying not having an easy way to open them. In this version once you enter your master password you can see a list of all your lockers and simply click which one you wish to open.
If you don't want to encrypt everything you also have the option to temporarily hide certain folders so they can't be seen while someone is using your PC and then you can easily un-hide them with one click of the mouse later.
Highly recommended to anyone who needs to hide or secure any private files on their computer. -

I have been using Folder Lock for quit some time now. Overall it's a nice application that does what it is suppose to do, In-fact there are feature that I have never seen in any other data locking software. Features like shredding files and creating wallets makes things easier for a user like me who doesn't want to run half a dozen applications every day. I wish they add password manager as well someday as it will subtract one more application from my PC LOL...
