"DO NOT USE"
Version: Folder Defence Free 1.0.0.17
Pros
Simple to use and does hide files and folders well.
Cons
Will crash your system repeatedly.
Summary
After 2 months of using this program I finally figured out what was causing my laptop to crash and give me a blue screen error message saying there is a problem with a file named fldsafe.sys. I tried every registry fix/disk check program I could. Finally after researching forums I found my way back here to see that other people were having the same issue. Uninstall this program, delete all related files, disk check, registry fix and now I have no problems. I almost gave up and trashed my laptop because this was happening anywhere from once every other day to sometimes 3 or 4 times a day and you didn't have to open the program for it to happen. You could be in the middle of an email or important project and then POOF! Gone.

"This app is known to cause blue screen of death !"
Version: Folder Defence Free 1.0.0.17
Pros
It will successfully hide your files.
Cons
This app will corrupt Windows drivers that filter the file system !
The file system filter is essential for your Windows.Summary
This app will corrupt Windows drivers that filter the file system !
The Windows own driver called FldSafe.sys will get corrupted and will cause your pc to crash with a blue screen of death ! You may loose all data produced since starting up your pc last time.
This is a known issue on pc help forums.
If you have allready installed this program I recommend you to consult a pc help forum on how to best fix your pc.
I strongly advice anyone not to subject themself to this risk ! -
