"Works just fine"
Version: Folder Comparison 2002
Summary
Some users complained that the probram is difficult to use, but I had no trouble figuring it out--took only a minute. Program worked fine.

"Works as advertised for unbelievable price!"
Version: Folder Comparison 2002
Summary
This software is simple to use. Although the interface is not completely intuitive to a beginning Windows user, any intermediate Windows user should find this application is a snap for comparing directories and their contents. Right clicking or hovering over an item explains each button's use. Thank you to the author for sharing!

"Saved me a lot of time"
Version: Folder Comparison 2002
Summary
It took me a few minutes to figure this one out because of it's bizzare layout, and strangely worded help. But despite the strange interface, all you really have to do is select the two folders you want to compare and press enter. Then unselect "compare only common files" and select "display only differences" Ignore everything else. CLick OK. Click Compare, and you're done. Remember, the program is designed to work on identical directory structure, as in the case of a backup. It does that well. And it allows you to print.

"Meets its presented purpose..user interface needs work"
Version: Folder Comparison 2002
Summary
Program does what it is presented to do but the interface needs an overhaul. Use pushbuttons only for frequently used actions (language definitely does not qualify!). There is no "Go" button to actually execute the compare. You have to select a directory, hit enter, then press a "Compare" button. Too many steps to get to the "meat" of it. Either lose the cluttered buttons or put them on a tool bar at the top. The center is a good place for very frequenly needed buttons such as folder navigation and PLEASE put a one push "GO" button to get directly to the comparison panel (bypass the option screen if default options have already been set).

"Uninteligible Functionality"
Version: Folder Comparison 2002
Summary
The program does not make any sense. It is impossible to figure out how to compare folders. Unexpected screens appear when you do not expect it
-
"quite complicated to use"
Version: Folder Comparison 2002
Summary
it seems to have many features, quite powerful, but hard to figure out in under 1/2 hour. The keys are not intuitive; I am sure the programmer put in a lot of work into this, but it still needs a user friendly face.

"Does not diff contents"
Version: Folder Comparison 2002
Summary
This utility does not diff contents of files. Though other things are good, they are pretty useless if you cannot compare contents of the files. Also the publicized synchronize option is not present.

"So how does it work? Not Intuitive!"
Version: Folder Comparison 2002
Summary
And what good is this? I saw comparisons, but what after that?
