Version: Flock Browser 1.1.1
"Flock gave me a trojan horse virus"
Pros: I downloaded it because I love Treehugger. This is supposed to be a browser for environmentally conscious people and I really enjoyed that.
Cons: I found out that in the uninstaller, there's a lovely trojan horse lurking. Thanks to avg, my computer wasn't infected.

AVG has since corrected their error. Flock is completely safe. The code in their uninstaller was erroneously identified as a trojan horse, and Flock is now reviewed as being completely safe. Flock has delivered over 4mm downloads and people are raving about it. This error wasn't Flock's but AVG's.

Earlier this month, AVG and ClamAV detected a virus in Flock. This was a FALSE POSITIVE, because a piece of our code was similar to that of a known virus. We have since changed this code and AVG has updated their program to no longer call out a virus in Flock. More information is available on the Flock FAQ on flock.com
