"recreating folder tree"
Version: FlashCrest ISO Maker 1.0
Pros
simple interface
Cons
you will need to recreate the folder tree in the software. you will need to create a folder and type (or copy-paster) its name for EVERY single folder. just imagine if you have sub-directories, you can easily get dozens if not over a hundred directories.
Summary
only good if you have a very few folder to end up with in your ISO ...unless you like clicking icons and typing a lot.

"Decent product for what it's tagline reads."
Version: FlashCrest ISO Maker 1.0
Pros
Created the ISO with little trouble once I figured out how to get the files from the CD over.
Cons
The interface needs some work. You have to drag from an instance of Explorer in order to build the ISO image.
Summary
For a free product, it does exactly what it says. Worth the download in my opinion.

"Does the job!"
Version: FlashCrest ISO Maker 1.0
Pros
Simple, drag & drop interface.
Cons
It is a bit slow in ISO creation compared to other tools. However, it is truly "FREE" and it works, so I don't know that it is really a con.
Summary
Excellent tool for ISO creation. As I only create ISO's every few months, this tool fits the bill well. Thanks FlashCrest!!!

"Not good with Windows 7"
Version: FlashCrest ISO Maker 1.0
Pros
Won't install on my machine so can't comment, but other people seemed to have got it to work (on XP?).
Cons
Windows 7 not supported
No uninstall option for product
Issues using forums on FlashCrest website for supportSummary
I have Windows 7 Ultimate, x86 32 bit installs OK but when I run it up I'm informed that I don't
have comdlg32.ocx installed and so it doesn't run, tried to use the FlashCrest forums but can't post (it just times out). Also tried to uninstall it but the application is not listed in Control Panel so there is no easy uninstall at a later date. -
"Does the job and does it well."
Version: FlashCrest ISO Maker 1.0
Pros
Nice GUI, fast conversion, drag+drop support
Cons
Doesn't burn ISO's
Summary
This little program is amazing, and best of all it's free. Some developers are asking for $60 for the exact same software.
