"As a previous reviewer said this is not freeware."
Version: Flash .SCR Master 1.4
Pros
It is easy to use, however it makes a lot of assumptions concerning the users software configuration and ability to make subtle changes to same in order obtain the best possible effect. Difficult for such a lite weight utility
Cons
Those were the Pros. Cons are that it is limited in its application. Most of us that want to actually produce a screen saver wish to produce a screensaver that we would like to pass on to other people to use for fun. Not This.
Summary
There are quite a few ways of actually creating screensavers. SCR Master is I believe a good introduction to the whole process and it should be taken for what it is. The price is a little steep and perhaps the vendors might address this issue in future. A little more attention might be made as to the platforms it functions on and the reliability of Flash and Activex parameters which can adversely affect its performance in code sourcing and executable output do need attention.
However its quite fun....and if you have time on your hands to have a dabble at creating your own screensaver then go ahead and give this a try. Remembering you don't have to buy it straight off. -
"This is NOT Free! This is Free to Try Trial Ware Limited To 7 Uses."
Version: Flash .SCR Master 1.4
Pros
Easy to use and good for flash.
Cons
Don't close the program or you'll blow 1 of your uses, you only have 7 uses total before the software becomes disabled. Maybe this should not be listed as Free, when it is actually Free-To-Try.
