"The missing bit for flagging in Apple Mail!"

    March 21, 2011  |   By jeffe01

    Version: Flagit 1.6

    Pros

The developer was instantly responsive, and fixed every bug we could find, seeming to work all night long! It now works perfect with imap, and I'm loving not having to crawl through mountains of flags to get to the ones I need! Smart mailboxes too!

    Cons

Had some problems with smart mailbox searches and imap. Fixed!

    Summary

I use flags a lot. Usually have a couple hundred of them. Apple forgot to allow different flags for different needs: urgent, pending, later, friends, projects, etc. This does the trick, and allows for smart mailboxes as well. A must have!

    "Excellent and effective"

    Version: Flagit 1.4.1

    Summary

Really good tool, and with the latest update it is now smooth with any imap server. Much more effective than the now bloated MailTags.

"Essential Mail add-on. Its what Apple forgot!"

    November 28, 2009  |   By Ed1921

    Version: Flagit 1.3.7

    Pros

    Easy to use
    Fast, intuitive learning curve
    IMAP support
    Great customer support
    Works on Snow Leopard

    Cons

A bit slow on IMAP if the the IMAP account is large and the connection is slow. But not so slow as to call it a strike.

    Summary

If you get a lot of email you'll love Flagit!. You can quickly go through your inbox, tagging messages with individual flags for future action. Helps you get rid of the chaff that gets past the SPAM filters and lets you focus on important items. You can create as many different flags as you need - in any color you desire - and all flags created by any user are displayed across the 'net in IMAP folders.

    "Flagit is great!"

    January 24, 2009  |   By shiva108

    Version: Flagit 1.3.2b

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I process a LOT of email every day seven days a week.
In light of this, I find flagit to be invaluable.
I especially like the fact that I can choose to have the subject heading
made into the same color as my flag
which enables me to scan my flagged emails even faster.
Before I knew it... I had created a lot of custom flags
and one moment when I didn't know what a flag was...
I just clicked on the flag in question and there was my custom label!

On top of this, this is another great app from TastApps.
Besides always being always high quality...
    (Videobox and Websnapper are fantastic)
you simply can't beat the customer service Tim and Tom give.

Put flagit to the test for a couple of days,
and I am sure you'll be as grateful for it as I am.

    "Not ready for release"

    July 31, 2008  |   By William_Picker,_Ph.D._809

    Version: Flagit 1.2b

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
The site says this may be buggy. It is.
Once you use a custom colored flag, there is no way to unflag it. That command is grayed out on the Mark it menu (the way one invokes Flagit.)

An initial release of a product that is buggy never bodes well.
