"Great product. Works as stated."
Pros: Keeps my system lean and mean. I try a lot of programs. some I keep, others I uninstall. Whenever I uninstall a product, I run Fix-it to clean up my registry and hard disk.
Cons: Requires a fair amount resources so I don't allow it to run in the background all the time. I only run it when I have a specific need to use it.
Summary: Avanquest states clearly "Windows Vista 32 bit" in the system requirements. If you buy software without looking at the system requirements, you deserve what you get. Also Avanquest has a 60-Day money back guarantee if you buy from them. Again, a lit... read more

Version: Fix-it Utilities Professional 9.0.2.3
Pros: Easy to use and has been reliable for three years. Moved from Norton (Symatics) and CA that were becoming unreliable in protection and ease of use. I have not experienced any crash issues with XP, or any bad effects of having this installed.
Cons: Since release 7, I have never had an issue with Fix-it Utilities.
Summary: I highly recommend the product although I have not tested with Vista or enhanced operating systems, but for XP, it seems to be rock solid. read more

Pros: Flashy box, well packaged
Cons: This program will crash your system, it will tell you to close MSN messenger, and you will get error messages ie: not responding, windows will freeze. The return policy for this purchased item from Future Shop is nill.

"Great Program top tto bottom"
Pros: I have both a 32 bit sysystem on 1 of my Desktops and I have 64 bit on my Dell Laptop works with both
Cons: SO far I haven`t found anything I haven`t liked.

"program misrepresented - borders on dishonesty"
Pros: works fine with 32 bit system. many options which work very well
Cons: should clearly state "does not work with 64 bit system." Instead says "works with Vista." Buyer beware. If it does not say "Vista Certified" it will not work with a 64 bit system.
