Hidden in the fine print, they charge you $19.95 every MONTH. A total scam, hoping you won't notice, then keeping your money (assuming that you won't spend the energy to get your last payment back after you turn off this secret auto billing).
Summary
Since you don't really need to run registry scan software very often, such a product should be a "buy once" price. Get something like Registry Mechanic, that uses such a reasonable price model, not some scan like this one.

It appears to have taken some unneccessary junk off of my computer, and now it seems to be working at it's normal speed again.

what exactly did it fix, idon't know, but i'm not a pro anyway, just so long as it did not hurt anything is fine with me.

There is no way of knowing what it is about to do - I need to know every key that it considers modifying/deleting or whatever. Far too dangerous - I've uninstalled v8 almost directly after installing it. Far too dangerous - wouldn't recommend it.

Fix My Registry is free when you open this program click fix. And it starts scanning for obsolete and invalid registry entries. Scans in file associations, active x entries, start up program list, uninstall entries, and temporary registry values. On the right side of what it finds, click details and you can read all of the registry entries. To repair the obsolete and invalid entries, you have to click fix again.
Cons
You have to repair all of the registry entries that it deems obsolete and invalid. It does have an undo feature to return your computer back to normal. It needs to let the user to select what they want to repair. And needs to have more options, and the interface is too small.
